Andrew Bird is back with an instrumental from his upcoming album, a song with a lot of range to it. It goes from orchestral sings to an almost ukulele kind plucking sound, all very fragile, like if you tried to grab a hold of the sound it would break apart in your hands. Mr. Bird seems a master story teller. Must be from that coffee he's drinking up there.
The album, titled Noble Beast, will arrive on January 27th on his current home of Fat Possum Records, which released his Armchair Apocrypha in 2007.
