Now it's official: The Hold Steady's keyboardist Franz Nicolay has left the band.
His immediate future plans? He's got a story collection Complicated Gardening Techniques coming out, His new band Guignol has an album titled "Guignol & Mischief Brew Fighty Dirty", and he has a solo album titled "St. Sebastian of the Short Stage. After all of that, he's producing a record from Brooklyn's The Debutante Hour.
