Imeem was sucked into the MySpace undertow, being acquired and almost disapearing overnight. Imeem users have been hastily assured that their playlists will remain intact at Myspace, but at the very best will exist as an experience less than what it was at Imeem.

LaLa specializes in on-demand streaming music, which lets users transport their music libraries online, as well as access a catalog of over 7 million songs.
