Black Lips are currently making their way through Europe on tour, and their new album Arabia Mountain is due out in June. Rolling Stone has unveiled another Arabia Mountain track titled "New Direction."
The song is classic Black Lips, but has a much cleaner recording sound than songs from their previous album 200 Million Thousand. The muddiness and echoey sound of that album is gone, which might come from the fact that they worked with producer Mark Ronson to record sounds in a new way. Kind of ironic when you think that the song is titled "New Direction."
