Back in the halcyon days of the early 90's, nobody could even touch Jane's Addiction in terms of street cred. They were indie before indie was indie, working outside the L.A. pay to play club system by renting warehouses and throwing their own shows/parties. They built up their own following without the internet and became the stuff of legend. Drugs and hate brought the demise of the band.
Until now. After last week's news of fresh laid plans to tour with Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails, Jane's Addiction played a reunion show in L.A., and emerged as a lucid, cohesive, and completely on band. Jane's gets the last laugh.
