Metric have released the first preview of their forthcoming album Fantasies, with an online stream of the song Help I'm Alive. It's a visitation of some of the older Metric sounds combined with the new approach that singer Emily Haines and the band have worked out.
For now, the band will remain independent for the most part, partnering with different labels for the distribution of the album.
Metric will release their long-awaited album, Fantasies, on April 14.
