When Joel Petersen isn't busy doing remixes for AFI and Of Montreal, he's working on his own projects like the Faint and Broken Spindles. Broken Spindles lets him break free of the New Wave confines of the Faint and break into new territory, namely cagey, spastic pop like the kind on display in the track Introvert.
