They beam in almost Star Trek-like in the beginning, which is a fitting arrival for Animal Collective. These guys do make otherworldly music, so it seems inline that they would arrive in a way that suggests that they've come from an entirely other place to perform for us.
They launch into the song My Girls, and the video is a combination of what looks like microscope views of cells overlaid against scenes from outer space. Animal Collective ... in inner space and outer space. I think they just blew my mind.

They just announced a bunch of tour dates, it'd be cool to see a lot of these animations on screen in a live show.
