Foals World Tour

The U.K.-based post-punk band Foals found a new sound on their new latest album Total Life Forever.

They'll be touring for pretty much the rest of the year with Esben and the Witch and Toro Y Moi depending on location.

Tricky Fall Tour Dates

The ever-inventive Tricky is set to release his latest album on September 27th with Mixed Race. It promises a global set of influences (UK, Jamaica, the US, North Africa and France) as well as a wide range of musical styles; Trick-ola always brings a diverse set of influences to his songs. Recoil Announces Tour Dates: Fall 2010

Alan Wilder's Recoil project is set to hit a number of cities in South and North America this Fall. He'll bring his experimental electronic avant-garde approach in support of his latest release Selected. The Tour is being called "A Strange Hour."

"The collection is made up of my personal favorites, remastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience,” said Alan about Selected.

Jónsi Tour Dates

Jónsi released his solo album Go back on April 5th. The album was arranged in collaboration with Nico Muhly and has the song "Boy Lilikoi" avaialble as a stream from Jonsi's web site.

Minus the Bear Fall Tour Dates

Minus the Bear is a band on a mission. After struggling through the demise of their previous label Suicide Squeeze, they landed on Dangerbird Records and got busy. The result was their new album, Omni, their fourth full length release. The band spent four months working with producer Joe Chiccarelli (My Morning Jacket, The White Stripes) in Seattle's Avast! Recording Co and Electrokitty Recording studios, crafting the songs and expanding their sound.

Octopus Project Set Hexadecagon Tour

The Octopus Project will release a new album titled Hexadecagon on October 26 via Peek-A-Boo Records.

Here's what the news release says about the new creativity "surrounding" their performance:

"... they arranged eight speakers in a circle around the audience, with the audience surrounding the band at the center, accompanied by eight synchronized video projections, designed by Austin digital artist Wiley Wiggins."
